Richard White, G&B's Production Manager, plans to trek Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise money for Epilepsy Action. At 5,895 meters it is the highest free standing mountain in the world and if all goes to plan he will reach the summit on his 47th birthday!!
Richard considers this to be a physical and mental challenge (or a mid life crisis!) but also an opportunity to raise money through sponsorship for his chosen charity, Epilepsy Action. The costs of the trip are being covered by Richard therefore any donations and funds raised will go directly to Epilepsy Action.
Richard will be fundraising through various events over the next year with the support of family, friends, G&B Electronic Designs Ltd and staff. G&B's MD George McBrown said "We are delighted that Richard has chosen Epilepsy Action for his charity because of our close association manufacturing epilepsy monitors. We wish him every success with this venture and we look forward to supporting him."
