PCB Layout

From your original schematic, G&B can produce full drawing packages tailored to your individual requirements. Their engineers have extensive experience in designing a wide range of PCB applications and are fully conversant with all aspects of quality circuit board production. Coupled with their continued investment in advanced CAD technology they are able to offer a PCB design service which meets the demands of today's leading-edge technology, while being able to work with and support older legacy products.

G&B’s designers will work to the procedures and quality standards required by your industry, bearing in mind your timescale and budget, to produce a PCB design solution which is right for you.
 

Mechanical Design

From concept to final production G&B’s mechanical design team is on hand to assist with every step of the development.  Our designers will take your ideas and develop them into a 3D designs that will enable you to clearly visualise the finished product.

This 3D CAD model also allows us to simulate the mechanical interfaces, we can pull in the PCBs from their CAD system ensuring they are a perfect fit, tweak PCB component and pass the design back to the PCB designer for modifications.  This process virtually eliminating costly mistakes and reducing time to market.

Our mechanical team will then source and test proof of concept 3D rapid prototypes SLAs and/or models ensuring that they are designed for manufacture as well as designed for assembly.

They will research and specify materials, plastics, paint, etc in accordance with your design specification considering the environment protection required i.e. temperature, moisture, physical, flammability, chemical resistance.

Labeling is another critical area and our mechanical designers can design label sets to ensure that your industry requirements are met not just with what they say but their durability to their environment.

They will assist with the vendor selection process and be on hand to liaise with suppliers throughout the duration of the contract.

Finally they will produce a full set of engineering and assembly drawings.

Quality

The design process, from concept to releasing the design files into production is controlled by our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 approved procedures.  Sign off of artwork, data, BOM’s, drawings, prototypes and pre production batches is all documented to form a comprehensive design history files.
