Laura McBrown, the managing director of G&B Electronics, a contract electronics manufacturer based in Bordon has won a prestigious regional business award at this year’s EEF Future Manufacturing Awards.
 Laura won the Leadership Award, sponsored by Liberty House Group, which celebrates the achievements of outstanding manufacturing leaders and the significant contribution they make to their business and UK manufacturing.
Laura was up against stiff competition from individuals from a range of innovative businesses - small and large - from across the region. She was selected by a panel of judges drawn from business leaders, industry experts and academics after impressing them with the way she has set a clearer vision and introduced values that have transformed the culture of the business since becoming MD.
With the regional title now secured, Laura McBrown will now go on to find out if she has won the national title at an awards gala dinner in London in January next year.
