MADE IN THE UK - The Finals

G&B's directors Laura McBrown and Kate Sharp will be travelling to Liverpool on Friday 17th June to be part of on of the UK’s largest national, manufacturing awards dinners as it brings together the winners of Insider’s regional Made in... Awards. A total of ten Manufacturing awards dinners take place across all regions of the UK in the year leading up to the Made in the UK final. At this event all the companies who have been regional winners come together to find out who the overall national winners are, 500 – 600 manufacturers will come together to celebrate.

What do we do about Test?

One of the first challenges faced by companies looking to have their PCB manufactured by a 3^rd party is “What do we do about Test”. When a new board is manufactured in-house it is often easy to just plug it into a working unit and see if it functions correctly. If the board has faults, they can often be diagnosed quickly and easily because of the level of in-house knowledge. However this option is not available once the move to a sub-contractor manufacture has been made.

	G&B Electronic Designs Ltd in Bordon, Hampshire would like to announce that Laura McBrown has been appointed Managing Director taking over from George McBrown, who will continue as Chairman. Kate Sharp, sister to Laura, has been appointed as Company Secretary taking over from Catharine McBrown.
